Anthony Depasquale, P.E.

President

Background

Anthony DePasquale has been the driving force behind Vachris Engineering for over four decades. Starting as the firm’s first employee in 1982 while still a college intern at Polytechnic Institute of New York, he has dedicated his entire professional career to the company.

After graduating from POLY in 1984, Anthony joined Vachris Engineering full-time in 1985, where he has worked through every level of the organization—from intern to President. As President, he continues to be intimately involved in each and every one of our projects at Vachris Engineering, personally reviewing and signing off on each design and report that is prepared by our office. Licensed as a Professional Engineer in New York since 1989, Anthony has served in leadership roles with numerous industry organizations, including President of the New York Association of Consulting Engineers Long Island Region and member of The MOLES Executive Committee.

Craig Hahn, P.E.

Vice President

Background

Craig C. Hahn has been an integral part of Vachris Engineering for over two decades. Craig earned his Bachelor of Engineering degree from Hofstra University in 2003. Soon after, he joined the firm as a Project Engineer and has committed his professional expertise since.

After becoming a Licensed Professional Engineer in New York in 2009, Craig steadily advanced through the organization, being appointed Vice President in 2015. In this role, he oversees all phases of the firm’s operations while continuing to serve as a Project Engineer on complex infrastructure and marine construction projects, specializing in deep foundations, marine structures, and support of excavation systems.

Craig has demonstrated leadership in the engineering community, serving as Chair of the New York Association of Consulting Engineers Long Island Region since 2022, after previously holding positions as Vice Chair and Treasurer. He maintains active memberships in numerous professional organizations, including the American Society of Civil Engineers (since 1999), the National Society of Professional Engineers, the American Concrete Institute, and the American Institute of Steel Construction.
